- The marriage to the foreign women out of the total 327,715 cases are 28,163
cases (8.6%) - Especially in the case of the men working
in the agriculture, forestry and the fishing industry, the marriage
to a foreign women is 38% out of the total marriages
- The marriage to the foreign women out of the total 6,458 cases marriage is 2,472
cases(2008)
- Currently,the number of migrant women through international marriage is approximately 150,000 people in total.

- Apr. 2007:a Vietnamese bride died on coming down through the rope made
with the curtain in Dalseong-gun, Daegu.
- Jun. 2007:a Vietnamese bride, Huinmai died from the domestic violence in Cheonan,
Chungnam.
- Feb. 2008:a Vietnamese bride killed herself in Kyeongsan, Kyeongbuk.
